Communication & Media Systems

Communication & Media Systems involves the student in the fascinating and highly competitive world of printed and electronic communication media careers. Communication & Media Systems courses are designed to provide understanding of career opportunities and training requirements, along with specific, job-related skills in four graphic communication-related careers: graphic communications, advertising design, drafting, and commercial photography.

IMS contributes to this exploration by offering instructional materials within the four career areas. Curriculum in Introduction to Graphic Communication Careers, Advertising Design, Drafting, and Graphic Communication Technology is available. The curriculum guides correlate with lesson plans, student activities, test keys, and student competency profiles.

Videotapes are available to enhance the learning experience.
