Electrical-Electronics Systems

Electrical-Electronics Systems courses are designed to provide understanding of career opportunities, training requirements, and job-related skills in business machine repair, computer maintenance, instrumentation, electronics, animation, major appliance service, and telecommunications technology.

IMS offers Introduction to Electrical/Electronics Careers, instructional material designed to provide broad introductory skills and basic understanding of career opportunities and training requirements in six electrical/electronics related careers: communication electronics, electric motor repair, business machine repair, major appliance service technology, industrial electronics, and computer maintenance. Curriculum guides, lesson plans, student activities, and teacher’s keys to student activities are available. The Curriculum Guide correlates to the lesson plans, the student activity package, and the teacher’s keys.

The Electronic Technologies Instructors Guide integrates all electronics technology courses to assure that electronics technology instruction is uniform and transferable across the curriculum.

Videotapes are available to enhance the curriculum.
